   Well, I’m too late to win anything but we purchased your books already anyway so we’re good there! I also LOVE the Hero Books. My son, particularly, always looks forward to our nightly reading and asks to have it be our midday reading, too! I am challenged by today’s challenge (hmmm, interesting concept there! LOL!) to remain committed to our family’s time of prayer even when I’m tired and to keep my prayers real, not canned quick stuff. Also, to keep trying to get some time to myself where I can be with the Lord and to ask him to provide it, too. Just last week an opportunity presented itself for some sweet time alone. What a blessing. Too many times I am go-go-go and then, with mushy brain and tired body, I waste what time is left on TV or facebook. :/

May the Lord continue to guide and direct her heart, as she continues to seek the Lord and His love for the homeless. You might have your daughter watch the video about the 10-year-old who operated a lemonade stand (for three years) to help orphans. It’s awesome to see kids following God’s leading in their lives, and making a difference! Blessings to you and your family.

   This would be a great book for my daughter. She already has a big box full of stuff and $32.00 for her homeless ministry. She has told her mom and dad that God is calling her to begin a ministry. She is only 10. We are so proud!!!

It’s wonderful when we can learn from our kids (I’m continuing to learn lessons from our kids too – both our big grown-up kids, and even our little kids). By God’s grace, may our children take the Word of God, and the foundation and Bible knowledge that we’ve given them and GROW beyond us as parents, to take the Gospel of Jesus Christ to others, even more effectively than we have — into their generation.

    Can Canadians enter? Our family has two ‘official’ prayer times each day, though we also pray before meals, throughout the day as the Spirit leads etc. 1. Our children’s family devotions and 2. Before bed. It DOES help to have established times!
