Mark’s Mission to Nepal

Over the past several years, the Lord has been really stirring my heart for the Himalayas. As I’ve been looking ahead and seeking God for His plans for my future, I’ve been praying a lot for Nepal and for unreached people, and I’m eager to explore ministry possibilities in this region. — Mark

Dear Friends & Family,

MISSION TO NEPAL

First of all, thank you for all the prayers, support and encouragement this past summer as I went with Christ for the Nations Institute — on a mission outreach in S.E. Asia. This fall, I’ve been continuing my Bible college education through CFNI’s online program, which has allowed me to work and to save with the goal of graduating debt-free in the spring of 2017 (with a bachelor’s degree in Christian ministry).

An unexpected bonus of being in the NW this semester is that I’ve been invited to accompany my older brother, Josh Dunagan, on a mission trip to Nepal with Gospel Projects International (in cooperation with Harvest Ministry). In November, Josh and I will be traveling to Kathmandu, hiking to a remote area to preach the Gospel, and checking on the construction progress for a soon-coming orphan ministry, Himalaya Daya Children’s Home, scheduled to launch, Lord willing, in 2017. “Daya” is a Nepali word meaning “Mercy” and a key verse for this ministry is Hosea 14:3, “For in You, the orphan finds mercy.”

I’m looking forward to being mentored in missions work and ministry by my older brother, and helping in whatever ways I can. I’m also excited about traveling and ministering in Nepal. Over the past several years, the Lord has been really stirring my heart for this area of the world. As I’ve been looking ahead and seeking God for His plans for my future, I’ve been praying a lot for Nepal and for unreached people in the Himalayas, and I’m eager to explore ministry possibilities in this region.

In January, I will be returning to Dallas, Texas, to finish my final winter/spring semester at CFNI. Right now is an exciting time of life, and the Lord is so good!

Please keep me in your prayers.

Mark Dunagan
